it can take a life erasing what’s in sight the walls engulfed with light and nowhere is the same the ones that turn you wide the blinding mighty lie 'til milady from the night takes me down inside i tried for days after days at ending night taked it and breaked it but it still stayed upright and when i told the night i can't see the light it chained me with the leads two leaves and a trial height and night inured by the light one in all my dear fall down true life brutalized by time it comes down to winning whither is the cheat? oh oh whoa now chasing through the night fighting in this life putting up the knives tearing down the light we all sink when in life we decide gonna cheat gotta chase gonna take

From There 04:07
i was walking home suddenly i didn't know where i was i was looking at someplace else early times upon the hill dark wood along the shore haze lifting off of the sea and the salt hay lying down when i close my eyes looking down upon the flat lands rails running along the country way stiff collars black hats of course i should've known when it was where i was coal ash coming out of the stacks people saying "how do? how do?" when i close my eyes when i close 'em too i was from there though to then there is no going back x2 i've been thinking of it right there but it's not in front of me and i can't keep it straight never knowing where it was trying to get back in time too i was from there though to then there is no going back true i was ready (hardly) there is no going back x4

have you heard the tale of the upstate cat who found a good comrade in downstate rat on a sail up the river lead by old captain dog they landed ashore and encountered a frog the frog said good day and welcome, my boys cat and rat asked where are we and the frog exclaimed troy captain dog snorted this is Ilium (like he knew the best) frog raised her chin and croaked Ilium fuit Troja est where the moon pulls the Hudson way down to the sea the little birds sing at the promise of thee and old steeltown bums put their beers down to hear all the bells of troy as they're ringing ringing frog showed her new friends her best haunts and asides as the day was long and the sun was high until the steeple bells marked the end of the day and down the merry band made their way frog and captain dog had made amends embraced and departed the best of friends and the upstate cat and downstate rat felt all was as it should be and it shouldn’t end so they sailed up the river far from the sea far from the lights far from the city and built a house out of timber wood and all was good
7.
Mount Merry 03:02
turn that ring around let 's get to Pete's and put our mouths to the ground beat down and after the May Festival we'll leave this town lest the quarry waters let in and drown and do us in up on mount merry we were as merry as a mountain be (that is to say, not very) we get down we got down so low down we were underground exposed to the tides rushing in to your green eyes dagger deep into me under the mill oh you're deep with me in a dream with all you've been it's a wonder you're alive
8.
